The size of the edit doesn't matter - sourced synopses are not open to edits, period. That's it.
When you make your first edit you receive a welcome message which includes a link to the wiki's policies (in addition to the wiki's Manual of Style). Every editor that uses the wiki should be aware of how the wiki operates (this goes for every wiki). As the second sentence states, "There are no exceptions for those who fail to read site policy!"
Honestly, I think I was quite reasonable. Your edits were undone multiple times with specific reasoning, and when it came time for a block it was short (some wikis would give much harsher blocks for those that don't listen).
As for trivia, these points are constantly reviewed by fellow editors. The wiki has high standards and unfortunately the trivia edit you made wasn't written well and contained too much speculation/off-topic rambling. Too much speculation is commonly removed from the trivia section. Keep in mind that things that are trivial (such as your other trivia edit) are also removed. Seconds, thirds, etc of many things don't generally belong in the trivia section, so that may end up being removed as well.
