Would "Uncle" Harry appear? and heck, would he even be an "Uncle"?
Would "Uncle" Harry appear? and heck, would he even be an "Uncle"?
its possible, since that show follows alot of the 80s storyline
perharps, he's one of many 80's characters due for comebacks
From what I've seen, the show hasn't had much villain-wise. All we've really had so far are those music representative guys from "Lil' T". And that Derek guy? Those are the only real villains I can think of at the moments. I'd list Miss Smith and Alvin as well, but they're more jerks than straight-out villains.
Though, I've missed "Mister Manners", "The Tree House", "Saving Simon", "A Room Of One's Own", and "Carts and Crafts" so maybe there's something in those episodes.
I highly doubt Harry will ever make an appearence in the Nickelodeon series simply because there haven't been any characters who are chipmunks besides the main 6 since the 80s series. This is also the reason why we haven't seen new incarnations of characters such as Vinny and the Twee Twee Tribe. For some reason, the franchise has abandoned the idea of showing more chipmunk characters.
Agreed, Grandtamias. I would like Vinny to be a recurring "embarrassing mom" character, but as much as I'd like Harry on the new series, he wouldn't pass today's censors. Just like we can only have half of the original Brittany and none of Ms. Miller. Because of changing censor standards. I would love to see Ms. Miller back to her old self to some extent, like they did with Brittany. The representative guys in Lil' T were very good villians, watching as a college student. But to the younger viewers, they wouldn't realize the subtlety in implications. I wondered after watching Lil' T (didn't do the first time in order) if the representatives managed to forcibly change Theodore's clothes while he was eating (seems likely), and if so, did they try any sexual crimes on him? Those guys, even watching it the first time, seemed extremely shady, like the kidnappers who have a van with "free candy". But the agents are basically Harry in character, so Harry should be able to make it past the censors. Edna McAbola, changing Harry that much will ruin his character. I like Harry as a villan the way he is. Because he's so much better than Ian Hawke or the air police guy (Suggs) in the Road Chip. MelissaNthecrazyettes, your statement is so true. This summer, I rewatched the 80s series for the first time in 10 years via the Android app CartoonTV. So many of the new episodes are based off of the old ones' ideas, but they find a way to make it new again. The cruise ship idea has been used three times, the desert island three times (one in the Chipmunk Adventure), the spy one at least twice (including the Alvin spoof of James Bond in the new series), camping three times (once in each cartoon), etc.
if he appears in the alvinnnn! series, he should be voiced by Norm MacDonald
Unforunately that will not happen because of the resason I stated above that Harry won't appear in the series, and because the voice cast is limited to the Bagdasarian family. They just don't want outsiders doing any voices for the series.
ok
fair enough
Though, I've missed "Mister Manners", "The Tree House", "Saving Simon", "A Room Of One's Own", and "Carts and Crafts" so maybe there's something in those episodes.
dont forget beau carter humphery
I agree. There have been very poor antagonists so far. Don't worry Heeha, no new vilians have popped up. I have seen the B episodes in seasons two and three only a few times, so I've missed stuff too.
