The Haunted Getaway is an episode of the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks series.

Synopsis

Dave and the boys rent a cabin in the woods for a little rest and relaxation only to find out it may be haunted.

Plot

Dave and The Chipmunks are on the way to stay in a cabin. Alvin ponders the possibility that it's haunted though Dave scowls him for mentioning such a thing around Theodore. They arrive late to check in so they are given a different cabin than originally planned. The Sevilles begin settling into the cabin when Alvin hears a voice telling him to get out of the house. Alvin explains to the others, even spotting a ghost's hand out the window, but Dave is determined to forbid Alvin from saying the place is haunted, otherwise there will be no relaxing for anyone. Dave orders Alvin to go upstairs with his things only to be met with a ghost wanting to play causing him to fall down the stairs before pleading with Dave to leave. Dave refuses and Alvin attempts to relax, unable to as the result of objects moving in front of him or ghosts haunting him. Frustrated, Alvin vents his feelings at dinner, during which his chair begins to jump up and down with him in it though Dave believes he's doing it for attention. Wondering what's in the forbidden shed out back, Alvin explores learning the place isn't haunted - it's just part of a reality show. The producers pitch the idea of switching who gets haunted if he helps them; Alvin agrees. Alvin pretends the ghosts got him, appearing to Dave and Simon as a ghost, until Dave agrees that Alvin was right. When Alvin reappears physically, Dave proclaims the place is haunted, scaring Theodore. Alvin confesses they are part of a new TV series and were pranked leading Simon and Dave to chase him with Theo firmly around Dave's neck.
