The Camp Calomine Caper is an episode of the Alvin and the Chipmunks series.

The Chipmunks compete against The Chipettes in a camp battle of the sexes. After a beaver bits a hole in the boy's canoe, Alvin and Brittany begin to sabotage the other team. Brittany outsmarts Alvin, making a win for the girls in the canoe race with Simon and Jeanette. Theodore and Eleanor agree to no cheating, but when Alvin cheats, she blames Theodore. Nevertheless, Eleanor's display of frustration "creates" a win for the boys. The Chipmunks and The Chipettes, desperate to win, wreck each other's cabin so they cannot compete in the final event. As a result, they all spend the entire night cleaning. The girls end up winning the final event, but when the councilor learns the truth of the beaver, he suggests redoing the competition.

  • This is the second time Alvin indirectly starts an argument between Theodore and Eleanor, the first being The Chipettes.
  • This is the first episode The Chipmunks don't wear their normal clothes at all, throughout this episode they're only wearing camping clothes.
