Mystic Mountain is an episode of the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks series.

Dave is concerned that The Chipmunks have become too obsessed with their latest video game. But when they challenge Dave to play the game before judging it, Dave becomes even more addicted than The Chipmunks.[3]

Soon after Dave enters a quiet house carrying groceries, he is asked to write a score for a fantasy film. Hearing a scream, Dave rushes upstairs to find The Chipmunks playing a computer game, Mystic Mountain Adventure. They convince Dave to leave and he begins writing the score with much difficulty. He decides to check out the game music upstairs and discovers the boys are addicted. They introduce Dave to the game and Alvin instantly loots from him for choosing a terrible username. The next morning, the kitchen is a mess and Dave is addicted himself. The boys make it to school and are informed by their classmates that they need to control Dave. They confront him but Dave refuses to give up the game. Dave's continued actions pushes Kevin (a classmate) to declare war on their house. The boys enlist The Chipettes to help set up defenses around the house and plan for the attack. During the attack, Simon takes a call and reminds Dave about the score. As a result, Dave surrenders the game, uses the score from their battle song, and they all agree to limit each others game time.

"DAVID!!!" - Alvin

  • The Seville House is located at 702 Liberty Lane, based on Dave's username for the game.
  • Mystic Mountain Adventure seems to be a parody of World of Warcraft. The game would later be seen in the season 5 episode Jinxed!.
  • Goof: When The Chipmunks are talking to Dave after school, Simon's backpack disappears for a split second, and then reappears in the next frame.
  • The same piece of animation was used for every screenshot of the game.
  • Alvin screams "DAVID!!!" at the end of the episode; a rare role reversal between the two characters.
  • Before the song montage starts, Alvin breaks the fourth wall by saying “We’ll need a battle song.”
  • When the episode premiered in the US, it aired with a rerun of Clowning Around.
  • The book The Best Video Game Ever is based on this episode.
  • Part of the Alvin's Wild Adventures and Summer of Sport DVDs.
  • The Chipmunks and Chipettes' attack in this episode is similar to Clifford and Emily Elizabeth's attack in Josh and the Big Wall! The most major difference is the lack of slushies.
