Match Play is an episode of the Alvin and the Chipmunks series.
Plot
Desperate to get booked in one of Diggins' clubs, The Chipmunks sneak into the country club to meet him face-to-face. Alvin makes a wager with Diggins and tricks Dave into thinking it's a charity event so he will play against Diggins. Unknown to Dave, Alvin bet his signed "Elmer Palmer" golf club. Dave leads Diggins by six strokes until Theodore slips that Dave is playing to keep his autographed club. Afterward, Dave's score is considerably more until he is forced to be substituted altogether with Alvin when he is hit with a ball and begins to see double. They make the shot and get their gig. Alvin plans to make everything up to Dave by diving for golf balls.
