Jane Marie Lynch (born July 14, 1960) is an American actress, comedienne, and singer. She received multiple awards for her role as Sue Sylvester in the FOX musical comedy series Glee where she is best known. She voices Sergeant Calhoun in the Wreck-It Ralph franchise. Lynch also appeared on the popular comedies iCarly and Two and a Half Men.
She portrays Gail in the first CGI/live-action film Alvin and the Chipmunks.
