I Love L.A. is an episode of the Alvin and the Chipmunks series.
Plot[]
The Chipmunks are relaxing in Beverly Hills when Alvin discovers that Dan the Dog might be the next star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Alvin sets out to make them famous enough to get a star in 24 hours by "being seen in the right places by the right people." They travel to the Rugby Room only to receive a call informing them that the table has been given to someone more important: Dan the Dog. Theodore bumps into Mona Gabbs, a television host, who offers to interview them though she runs out of time to do so. Back at the hotel, Dave receives a call offering the boys a star, however, since they can't walk due to blisters they got walking from the studio, so the star is given to Dan the Dog.
