Glory Days is an episode of the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks series.
Synopsis[]
Alvin worries the Chipmunks are responsible for making Dave boring when they find out he used to be a rockstar. [citation needed]
Plot[]
Dave falls asleep over his oatmeal as Alvin retells his amazing dream leading Alvin to give Dave an oatmeal mustache and his own epic dream ending with a spider on his head. Awake, Dave informs Simon the basement needs a sweeping and Alvin needs to help. Alvin spots an old box in which he discovers Dave was part of a band and was cool. Alvin and Simon agree to get in touch with Dave's old band members, The Screaming Caterpillars, in order to learn why Dave stopped performing; meanwhile, Theodore looks for Dave in order to wake up from the dream he believes is going to become a nightmare. Simon finds they are still a band, tracking them to a retirement home where they are set to perform. Simon invites them to the Seville House for lunch to reminisce their glory days with Dave, though Cobs refuses to talk with them about Dave. During lunch, Alvin believes he ruined Dave's stardom once he hears Dave was a rock god from Berry. Dave overhears and Alvin is set straight when Skins explains Dave didn't want to travel anymore or be known for being in the band. His glory days are in the present doing what he loves. Theodore, who still believes he's in a dream, makes himself a large bowl of ice cream and accidentally drives away Cobs by simply claiming he looks like a regular person.

Trivia[]
- A sneak-peek was posted on Nicktoons UK.
- The fact that Alvin does not know what a 45 RPM record is in this episode is ironic since the original Chipmunks were created on that medium.
- This is the first time in the series where the original song is performed entirely by human characters, instead of The Chipmunks or The Chipettes.
