Frank Welker

Franklin Wendell "Frank" Welker (born March 12, 1946) is a veteran American voice actor best known for the roles of dozens of characters such as Fred Jones from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, Droopy from Tom & Jerry, Garfield from The Garfield Show, and multiple characters from The Transformers television series and films.

Welker provides the voice for multiple characters in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. They include:

• Sophie, the Baby Penguin, the Native Chief and additional voices from The Chipmunk Adventure.
• Roland Bellyache from Daytona Jones and the Pearl of Wisdom.
• Additional voices for 61 episodes from Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Chipmunks, and The Chipmunks Go to the Movies.
• Lawrence Talbot and Theodore's Werewolf vocal effects from Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman (the human speaking voice was done by Maurice LaMarche).
• Frankie, and the guy in the Frankenstein and Sammy Squirrel costume from Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein.
