Takin' Center Stage is a HTML5 game for all devices (eg; mobiles, laptops, etc). It was released on October 2, 2015 on Nick US and features the character design from the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks television series.
Summary[]
Watch out 'cause here they come! In ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks: Takin' Center Stage, the gang is performing a series of their famous songs. They need your help to hit all their notes correctly and get The Chipettes on stage with them! With easy, normal and hard mode, there are sure to be plenty of challenges in this musical game.
Objective[]
The goal of the game is to hit musical notes as they pass through a circle from both sides of the screen in order to increase your scores. The musical notes consist of quarter, twin, double, and whole notes.
Gameplay[]
After selecting a song, notes move from the outside edges towards a circle. To hit the notes the directional left and right arrows are used: quarter notes require pressing an arrow once, twin notes require pressing both arrows at the same time, double notes require pressing the same arrow twice in quick succession, and whole notes require pressing and holding the arrow until the note appears again. When a note is hit correctly, the star meter (the circle) and the audience meter (segmented bar) begin to fill. Once the star meter is full, the Chipettes Mode is activated and stars appear that are collected by clicking on them. After they are all collected, notes will appear again and the cycle repeats until the end of the song is reached. If a note is missed, the audience meter decreases and vice versa if they are hit correctly. With successful completion of the song, the next difficult unlocks. Difficulties include rehearsal (during "We're The Chipmunks"), easy, normal, and rock star for each song.
