CINAR was another Canadian studio that distributed The Chipmunks and The Chipmunks Go to the Movies series from 1994 to 1996. The studio would later become Cookie Jar Entertainment in 2004 before eventually being purchased by DHX Media in 2012, which DHX Media eventually rebranded as WildBrain Ltd. in 2019.
