Surprised (and not surprised) there's no reviews, or even comments, about these episodes. I guess I'll finally kick things off now that the plots are done with.
Brittany the Body Snatcher was the most anticipated of these episodes and delivered as my favorite. Though I'm not a big Alvittany/Albrittina fan, I'm glad we've finally got a true romantic-specific episode. I expected it wouldn't last given their history so no surprise. I was slightly heartbroken for Brittany at the end when she learned what Alvin was thinking, but the reactions were great. Overall, a very funny episode.
Agent Smith was alright. Such plots like this make me wish the series' episodes were actually connected more; otherwise it seems the episodes are somewhat pointless. Some of Theodore's comments were funny and I enjoyed some of Miss Smith's secret agent behavior. The best part of the episode was the song, "Sweet Perfume" (after I could understand the lyrics completely).
If I had a least favorite, which I don't really in this group, it's Baby Whisperer. One of Alvin's least appealing qualities is that he so quickly "falls in love" and meets a "soulmate" (I was sharing Theodore's reaction to Alvin's comment). While Theo made a nice looking (alley, I liked that detail) baby, I felt sorry for him being tormented so much. The best part of the episode was easily the ending scenes; Theodore tries so hard.
Let's Make A Deal was my second favorite here. What helped make this episode enjoyable was just how busy Alvin was and it showed he really cared about bringing a little piece of childhood back for Dave. While all the favors were piling on, the episode didn't seem rushed given how busy it was altogether. We even saw Biggy Large again, which I didn't think we would. A little disappointing for Alvin at the end when he learns Theodore didn't follow up with their deal.
