Bloodline is an episode of the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks series.

Synopsis

Alvin wants Dave to take a DNA test to see if he's a famous explorer or king, but maybe it's a person much scarier.[2]

Plot

Alvin relaxes in a lawn chair as Theodore mows the grass when Bocarter arrives to his house down the street in a limo, exiting to a red carpet. Alvin confronts him to learn that Bocarter received the results of a DNA test claiming he's a descendant of King Henry the VIII. Wanting to be sure Dave is special too, Alvin unsuccessfully pleads to Dave to send a DNA sample to be tested. After pondering whether Dave could be a King making them Princes, related to a famous astronaut allowing them to travel in space, or the heir to a huge fortune, Alvin and Theodore set out to get a sample themselves. The results arrive, along with a new set of knives, but are too difficult for the two to understand so they go to Simon to have them "translated." Initially upset, Alvin talks him into reviewing the results. He sends Theodore off for water before revealing that Dave's related to Jack the Ripper, only for the green-clad chipmunk to walk back into the conversation when Simon states he was a deranged killer. Alvin and Simon try to shrug it off to not upset Theo further; things only begin to become more frightening as Theodore informs his brothers of Dave's new set of knives and Dave scares them at the door while also having a cut on his hand from sharpening the knives. Nervous, the boys give Miss Miller the knives to "clean" (really just to get them out of the house), and when the power starts flickering due to a nearby storm, The Chipmunks become more frightened. Dave goes for a run in the fog, and concerned about what Dave might do, Officer Dangus is called. The officer arrives, unsure where to look for Dave. Meanwhile, Dave stops by the Miller House to pick up his knives. Miss Miller joins him on the walk home, carrying a boysenberry pie while Dave has the knives, and they have trouble seeing causing the elderly lady to trip on Alvin's bike. When she screams, Officer Dangus and the boys rush to the scene to find Miss Miller on the ground covered in red pie with Dave standing over her with the knives. Dangus mishandles his pepper spray in an attempt to stop Dave and sprays everyone, including himself. Dangus apologizes and walks Miss Miller home. The following day a letter arrives stating the results were mixed up - Bocarter isn't related to a King and Dave isn't related to a murderer. Alvin repeatedly insists for Dave to retake the test; he refuses before yelling "ALVINNN!!!"
