Addicted is an episode of the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks series.

Synopsis

The Chipettes challenge the Chipmunks to go three hours without their favorite things.

Plot

The Chipmunks and The Chipettes smell something pleasant and follow the scent to a cupcake shop where Theodore attempts to borrow cash in order to buy some. Given how much the young chipmunk owes, Alvin claims he's addicted, leading to further accusations of the other brothers' addictions. Jeanette steps in offering to give each of the boys what they want if they'll participate in her psychology study. In the school's basement, Jeanette explains if they can go three hours without touching the item they most desire or telling anyone they're part of a test, they will win the item. Confined in their respective rooms, the brothers learn of their items: a video game, a hover board, and a box of cupcakes. After five long minutes, the girls raise the temptation level by fanning the scent of a cake into Theodore's room, sending in a kid to try out Alvin's game, and hiring Marvin Bumpkis to construct Simon's hover board. Given the additional stimulus, Alvin attempts to teach Jackson how to play the game, Simon does his best to help the Geeks R Us member assemble the hover board, and Theodore talks to himself. The temptation is raised to level three, testing their sanity to the max: two girls enter Theo's room to eat cupcakes in front of him, Bocarter challenges Alvin to a match, and Marvin leaves without pressing start on the hover board. Unable to take the pressure anymore, each touch their item five minutes before the end of the test. Convinced she has more self control, Jeanette allows Brittany to enter a room set up for her and she fails nearly instantly.

• Geeks R Us is a pun on Toys R Us.
• The age requirement on the box for Simon's hover board reads "12+", suggesting that Simon may be 12 or older.
• Goof: Simon and Theodore should have failed the test earlier as the rules stated not to touch any part of the item including the packaging which they both touch. Simon also touches the instructions too.
• Goof: Brittany pulls Alvin out of his room to the right when the door's to the left.
• Theodore names one of his cupcakes Clarence while he's locked in his room, which is possibly a reference to Clarence the calf from the Alvin and the Chipmunks episode How You Gonna Keep 'Em Down on the Farm?
