Well, I' m a dramatic person, after all. Okay, I'm really sorry, I'll try to participate less.
That's not what I was getting at. Discussion thread are useful when posts are on-topic and constructive. Dramatic posts are less so and tend to create, that's right, drama. Drama derails discussions and isn't nessecary to get a point across. Your participation is very much welcome, just not in the manner above.
Yeah...these things you mentioned. They're not really indicators of romantic feelings...Alvin asks Britanny if she's alright. Yeah, um, that's not a romance thing. It's normal to make sure if a crying person is alright, especially if that person is your friend. It doesn't nessicarily mean romantic feelings. I don't really see Alvin shortening her name as a indicator of love either. This is also a normal friend thing to do.
You don't think they'd tell the truth? Maybe so, but we aren't given any hints of them hiding something. Their thoughts show negative connations with being in a relationship with the other. Also, when I said they hinted at the other couples more than AlvinXBritanny, I was referring to Chipwrecked, not the new series.
I don't really have a problem with how any of the "couples" are portrayed here. I've never really been big on shipping within Alvin and the Chipmunks productions. For me, I can take it or leave it. I'd have absolutely no problem if they decided to do nothing with the ships here.
In the 80s series, "It's My Party" is a big tell.
Based on all hints in 80s series, CGI movies and CGI series, I believe they are in love but are to proud to admit.
i guess I can believe that they are made for each other since during the generations, they do some lovey-dovey stuff X3
DeadlyNova, that's just in the 80s series, and the future rendering about the money prize (can't remember episode name) based on the camera angle seems to be a figment of Alvin's imagination, as the two situations contrast each other. Alvin and Brittany only ever dated once for a dance in Captian Chipmunk. Knowing that both characters have a tendency to be polyamorous and how their dynamics are, I would say that they are bad friends.
I think Alvin and Britt are in love, but too embarrassed to admit it, so the “arguing” is more of a cover up because they don’t want to get teased.

Completely agree they are just too proud to admit they love each other and the arguing shows they do as if they didn’t care what the other one thought of them and their opinion of them then they simply wouldn’t argue as much as they do they would just ignore them. Plus Alvin usually asks Brittany if he needs help and vice versa.
