It's the acuall munk cast and they got permission to do youtube questions and answers so they have the acual people (chipmunk)come and answer questions and alvin says he LOVES brittany
You do know the Munkcast is actually created by fans and is not actually affiliated in any way to the producers of the franchise nor contains official answers (ie. answers by the producers).
the munkcast in not official , besides we don't need that alvin says he loves brittany because everyone know that
Actually, Alvin loving Britanny hasn't been confirmed. I don't know where you get the idea. I don't really see why the ship is so popular, the two have very limited romantic interaction. AlvinXBritanny seems more like a fan ship than anything offical. I can see the other ships (SimonXJeanette and TheodoreXEleanor) but this one doesn't seem to be there. The Squeakquel very slightly suggests that Alvin might harbor feelings for Britanny. Very slightly. All we really get is Alvin thinking she's pretty, which doesn't nessicarily mean romantic feelings.
In Chipwrecked, the two have no romantic interaction at all. While the other chipmunks and chipettes are shown to have romantic moments, Alvin and Britanny are not. They interact in the movie but none of it ever suggests romantic feelings on either side. The new show doesn't really show any hinting either. In fact, they seem to be rather annoyed with eachother here. In "AlBrittina", both of them are shown to be disgusted with the idea of possibly being in a relationship with the other.
I'm not sure what the 80s' series had in relation to Alvin and Britanny having feelings for eachother. Though remember, just because something is confirmed in one continuity, that doesn't mean it's confirmed in ALL continuties.

They were less disgusted than they feared the other would be the dominant in the relationship. In the end, they reverted back to their old personalities, and if the test is true (as sworn by the million viewers), then the two are "mystic mates," destined to be together.
Not much happens in the CGI films.
Their 80s relationship was more involved and a clear love-hate duo. As also noted above, they are also predicted to be together in the future. This would indicate they have some kind of romantic feeling for each other, whether or not they want to admit it, though, of course, it doesn't describe them at-the-moment, so to speak. They do preform actions a couple would do such as dancing and they are the only couple to share an actual kiss.
As I mentioned a couple years ago, it's not clear-cut when it comes to these two because they do have that love-hate relationship and it complicated (less so with the others) with the multiple generations. I've almost always shied away from these discussions because the characters have never outright stated they love each other, but there are many indications indicating their coupling (as stated on their couple article).
For me, the test they took in that episode doesn't indicate anything. Show, don't tell. The test tells us that Alvin and Britanny are "mystic mates" but the series never shows us anything to indicate they have romantic feelings for eachother. The test was only a set-up for jokes. It's likely that a romantic relationship between Alvin and Britanny will never develop in this series despite them "being destined to be together". The test or any of the events that happened in this episoe will likely never be mentioned again in the series.
If that's the case, I'm willing to admit that the ship is certainly there in the 80s' series. But as for recent material, it's simply not there. Neither the CGI films or series show us anything to indicate they're in love. Staring at her briefly and results on a match maker test do not count as true indicators in my book. From what I can remember, the two have shared more negative interaction than positive in the new series. This may change but for right now, I don't really see anything indicating they love eachother.
PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!
Well, when they need something, for example help, Brittany calls Alvin and Alvin calls Brittany... in the episode My sister the weirdo, although I am a Simonette fan, I can't find A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G that hints the Simonette relationship EXCEPT Simon being jelous. I find more of Albrittany moments. For example, when Britt was crying Alvin was like Britt, are you okay?, so he cares. PLUS++ He is the only one from the boys that calls her Britt and not her full name. And about Albrittina, I don't think that they would be like OHHH... I AM SOOO HAPPY AND FULL OF JOY THAT ME AND BRITTANY ARE GOING TO BE FOREVER TOGETHER.. I LOVEEEE HER! LETS GO TO BALLET CLASS NOW! I don't think they would have said the truth.
I disagree, I believe that they did EXCACTLY the oposite. They hinted more Alvin and Britt, instead of Theo and Ellie. Oh and I will not even start mentioning Simon and Jeanette. I am not sattisfied with their relationship in the new series at ALL...... They are not shy to talk to each other, NO, they do NOT want to talk to each other.. they ONLY talked with each other, and I mean conversation only like 30 seconds in the episode My Sister the weirdo....
It hurts me to say that this couple.. well, I do not ship them as much as I used to. The thing that will COMPLETLY make me change favourite couple will be Kiss Conspiracy. I'm telling you this will not end up good.
And you probably think now Ohh, she is not a real fan she changes fav couple just like that... nooo you guys don't get me wrong, I love Simon and Jeanette, but they don't seem to like each other in the new series.
Please don't take what has been said personally or be dramatic by using caps. Also, please stay on-topic. This thread is exclusively about Alvin & Brittany, not either of the other couples or which couple you like.
It's still very early in the series so the relationship building is still in the making.
Well, I' m a dramatic person, after all. Okay, I'm really sorry, I'll try to participate less.
That's not what I was getting at. Discussion thread are useful when posts are on-topic and constructive. Dramatic posts are less so and tend to create, that's right, drama. Drama derails discussions and isn't nessecary to get a point across. Your participation is very much welcome, just not in the manner above.
