"There, we had the old original negatives of those shows that my dad did. Over the last few years, we've been going through each of the episodes and returning them to that glory, that actually, probably has never been seen, because as you know, back in the 60's, most people didn't have color television. So most people thought the shows were done in black and white because they were shown on their television in black and white, but when you see although it's a very stylized look, it's a really cool design set, so when we have the right opportunity, there's a-lot of this product we want to share."

someone sent me this screenshot of the alvin show on boomerang. they said they captured this around 2010 or 2011. i looked up if the alvin show was on boomerang, it wasn't. so i don't know if this screenshot was real or if it was fanmade. the alvin show's last broadcast was in 1996 on nickelodeon. the alvin show was made in 1961 for CBS and canceled in 1962 because of low ratings, but viewership increased when the show aired in color. the show had ran on NBC in 1979, and on WHIO ohio, WTBS atlanta, and some fox stations in the 80s. the show had also aired on WTXX connecticut in the late 80s to early 90s, and then last aired on nickelodeon from 1993 to 1996.
